Michael Wilson
FounderMichael Wilson has been blacksmithing on and off since 1959. He shoed horses for 45 years, but transitioned his business into more decorative, practical forging in 2010.
Sarah Murphy
ApprenticeSarah began apprenticing Michael Wilson in 2021 during her summers home from college. After finishing her Bachelor’s in Psychology and starting her Master’s in Clinical Counseling, Sarah decided to dedicate time to blacksmithing under Michael. She is now working towards completing the Artistic Blacksmithing Certificate Program through the Virginia Institute of Blacksmithing.
